El Presidente Municipal, Cruz Pérez Cuéllar, destacó que una parte fundamental del presupuesto se destina a sostener servicios públicos que impactan de manera directa en la calidad de vida de la población, como la recolección de basura, rubro que representa una inversión superior a los 600 millones de pesos y que actualmente ofrece cobertura total en la ciudad con un servicio eficiente y constante.
Dentro de los proyectos contemplados se encuentran obras de gran impacto vial como los nuevos puentes en el eje vial Juan Gabriel y el bulevar Zaragoza, así como en la vialidad Juan Pablo II, además del desarrollo del Parque Norponiente y la próxima inauguración de la primera etapa del Parque Suroriente, donde ya se aprecian avances como un tobogán de gran escala que será gratuito y destinado al disfrute de los infantes.
El alcalde señaló que también se mantendrá una inversión importante en obra pública y en el mantenimiento de las principales vialidades, acciones que han sido bien recibidas por la ciudadanía y que seguirán siendo una prioridad para la administración municipal durante el próximo año.
