En ceremonia realizada en la explanada del Complejo Estatal de Seguridad Pública, la Secretaría de Seguridad Pública del Estado (SSPE) rindió homenaje luctuoso a los suboficiales Ana Esmeralda Arteaga Arroyo, Germán Peralta Hernández y Guillermo Aguirre Palma, quienes perdieron la vida durante un ataque armado registrado el pasado martes en el municipio de Moris.
El evento, que congregó a más de 350 asistentes entre familiares, compañeros e invitados especiales, fue encabezado por el secretario de Seguridad Pública del Estado, Gilberto Loya Chávez, quien junto a los subsecretarios y mandos de la corporación, montó guardias de honor en memoria de los agentes caídos.
Durante su intervención, Loya Chávez expresó su reconocimiento al valor y compromiso de los elementos que dieron su vida en cumplimiento del deber, y reafirmó el compromiso de la SSPE de continuar con el trabajo y determinación para garantizar la seguridad de los chihuahuenses.
“Hoy nos reunimos aquí para rendir un homenaje a tres héroes caídos en el cumplimiento de su deber. Héroes honestos, valientes y parte de esta gran familia de sangre azul”, manifestó el titular de la dependencia.
Asimismo mencionó: “Como muchos, enfrentaron el peligro de esta profesión con honor y responsabilidad de servir y proteger a todos los Chihuahuenses”.
El homenaje incluyó el pase de lista, el toque de silencio, salvas de honor y el toque de sirenas, así como la entrega de reconocimientos a los familiares de los agentes.
Los suboficiales Arteaga Arroyo, de 28 años; Peralta Hernández, de 42; y Aguirre Palma, de 31, fueron atacados por civiles armados cuando se dirigían al municipio de Moris a bordo de unidades oficiales para relevar al personal operativo.
El acto concluyó con la “Oración del Policía”, dirigida por el Subinspector Alejandro Iván Ríos Gutiérrez, y con un exhorto a mantener viva la memoria de los compañeros que ofrendaron su vida por la seguridad del estado.
