Lo anterior, luego de considerar que fue modificado de manera injustificada y con recortes que afectan programas sociales y proyectos estratégicos para el estado.
García Sepúlveda explicó que la decisión no obedece a un capricho ni a un interés político, sino a la necesidad de mantener el equilibrio financiero y garantizar la continuidad de acciones fundamentales para la población.
El gobernador advirtió que al reducir recursos al Estado se corre el riesgo de dejar personas sin acceso a alimentos, así como de frenar proyectos de movilidad, entre ellos el Metro, infraestructura que consideró indispensable rumbo a eventos de talla internacional como el Mundial de Futbol 2026.
