La interacción de la Segunda Tormenta Invernal de la temporada, con la masa de aire ártico que impulsó al frente frío número 21, mantendrá ambiente extremadamente frío, precipitaciones y rachas de 85 kilómetros por hora (km/h) en las regiones suroeste y sur del estado.
Estas condiciones podrían presentarse en Guadalupe y Calvo, Balleza, Huejotitán, Parral, San Francisco del Oro y Santa Bárbara, con posibilidad de tolvaneras. En Juárez, Guadalupe y Nonoava, se esperan ráfagas por encima de los 55 km/h.
Habrá lluvias de dispersas a moderadas con chubascos, acompañadas de aguanieve y nieve en la Sierra Tarahumara y en municipios como Ahumada, Casas Grandes, Nuevo Casas Grandes, Madera, Ignacio Zaragoza, Gómez Farías, Buenaventura, Temósachic, Matachí y Namiquipa.
Estas condiciones climatológicas mantendrán afectaciones en las vías de comunicación, mismas que las autoridades ya atienden con la finalidad de restablecer el tránsito seguro lo antes posible.
Los tramos carreteros reabiertos a la circulación son: Ascensión-Janos, Janos-Ascensión, Janos-Nuevo Casas Grandes, Maguarichi-San Vicente, Namiquipa-Bachíniva (solo para vehículos pesados), Namiquipa-Las Cruces (vehículos pesados) y Nuevo Casas Grandes-Janos.
También están habilitadas las vías: Parral-Guachochi, Cuauhtémoc-Chihuahua (con hielo en el km 93), Flores Magón-Ojo Laguna, Creel-San Juanito, Creel-San Rafael y Gómez Farías-Soto Máynez.
Al momento, los tramos que permanecen cerrados son: Buenaventura-Flores Magón, Buenaventura-Ignacio Zaragoza, Janos-Agua Prieta, La Junta-Guerrero (neblina y tramo resbaloso), La Junta-Cuauhtémoc, Madera-Gómez Farías, Madera-Largo Maderal, Madera-Temósachic, Matachí-Guerrero y Matachí-Temósachic.
Además de las rúas Matachí-Soto Máynez, Namiquipa-Gómez Farías, Nonoava-San Francisco de Borja, Nonoava-El Mirador, San Juanito-Basaseachi y Temósachic-Matachí.
Para este viernes, la Segunda Tormenta Invernal en interacción con la corriente en chorro polar y una nueva masa de aire ártico que impulsa el sistema frontal número 22, generará ambiente muy frío con heladas por la mañana y temperaturas de muy frías a gélidas en la zona serrana.
Estas condiciones generarán lluvias de aisladas a dispersas, acompañadas de aguanieve y nieve en las partes altas de la zona serrana.
Para el sábado se prevé que el termómetro descienda hasta los -5 °C en las zonas fronteriza, centro y sur, y hasta los -15°C en la Sierra Tarahumara.
Con el objetivo de garantizar la seguridad de todas y todos, la Coordinación Estatal de Protección Civil exhorta a la población a mantenerse informada y seguir las recomendaciones de las autoridades.
