La regidora presidenta de la Comisión de Salud, Lupita Borruel (PAN), sostuvo una reunión con el delegado del IMSS en Chihuahua, el doctor José Antonio Zamudio González, con el objetivo de abordar uno de los temas que más le ocupan y preocupan: la atención a los derechohabientes del instituto.
Durante el encuentro, se pusieron sobre la mesa los asuntos más sentidos que la ciudadanía ha hecho llegar en repetidas ocasiones a la regidora, entre los cuales destacan el desabasto de medicamentos, la atención en el área de urgencias, y los prolongados tiempos de espera para que las y los pacientes sean atendidos.
Ante estos planteamientos, el titular del IMSS mostró total disposición a trabajar en conjunto y ampliar los esfuerzos para mejorar la calidad de los servicios y asegurar que los derechohabientes reciban la atención que merecen.
Ambos funcionarios acordaron mantener una comunicación cercana y constante, así como fortalecer los enlaces para poder atender de manera más eficiente las gestiones que desde la Comisión de Salud se canalizan, asegurando el acompañamiento y asesoría necesarios para la ciudadanía.
Lupita Borruel expresó al delegado que, desde el Gobierno Municipal, encabezado por el alcalde Marco Bonilla, la salud de las y los chihuahuenses es una prioridad.
En este sentido, reafirmó su compromiso de seguir sumando esfuerzos para garantizar el bienestar de los derechohabientes del IMSS y de toda la población de Chihuahua.
