La presidenta de México, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, informó que este viernes se llevará a cabo una reunión bilateral entre funcionarios de alto nivel de México y Estados Unidos, en la que se abordarán temas como la seguridad, la migración, comercio y los aranceles al cobre que anunció hace unos días el presidente Donald Trump.
Al precisar que el encuentro será encabezado por el secretario de Relaciones Exteriores, Marcelo Ebrard Casaubon, explicó que en esta mesa de trabajo participarán diversas secretarías de ambos gobiernos.
Por parte de México, asistirán subsecretarios de la Secretaría de Economía, la Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores y otras dependencias. Del lado estadounidense, la reunión será coordinada por el Departamento de Estado y contará con la presencia del Departamento de Comercio, así como de otra secretaría relacionada con tratados comerciales.
Sheinbaum Pardo señaló que la delegación mexicana viaja este miércoles a Estados Unidos para sostener una primera reunión técnica el jueves, previa al encuentro de alto nivel del viernes.
Indicó que esta nueva etapa del diálogo retoma la propuesta hecha con anterioridad al expresidente Donald Trump durante la reunión del G7.
