La presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum volvió a descartar la necesidad de una reforma fiscal, contrario a lo que ha expresado el coordinador de Morena en la Cámara de Diputados, Ricardo Monreal.
En su conferencia matutina, la mandataria dijo que antes de pensar en una reforma fiscal, es importante reducir la evasión para fortalecer el pago de impuestos.
Puso como ejemplo que el expresidente Andrés Manuel López Obrador aumentó la recaudación de impuestos de manera significativa por qué los grandes empresarios que no pagaban, empezaron a hacerlo.
El 14 de noviembre, Monreal anunció que muy pronto el oficialismo promovería una reforma fiscal con el propósito de requerir un esfuerzo mayor de tributación a los que más tienen en México.
Desde la tribuna del recinto legislativo de San Lázaro, sin dar mayores detalles, Monreal dijo ese día que Morena, PT y Verde Ecologista elaborarían un proyecto que permita una tributación con mayor justicia, igualdad y equidad.
Al día siguiente, la presidenta dijo que “posiblemente” habría una reforma fiscal, pero que eso se vería hasta el año entrante, pero con el tiempo, y a través de otros funcionarios, esa postura fue en retirada.
Fue el caso del secretario de Hacienda, Rogelio Ramírez de la O, quien dijo durante la presentación del paquete económico que para el próximo año se buscará elevar la recaudación mediante la simplificación de trámites que harán conjuntamente el SAT y la nueva Agencia de Transformación Digital y Telecomunicaciones.
En su conferencia de hoy, Sheinbaum dijo que primero hay que seguir erradicando la corrupción y evitar que haya evasión fiscal, y que así se conseguirán más ingresos “que incluso elevando las tasas, que es a donde pudiera ir una reforma fiscal”.
