El proceso consta de varias etapas, que incluyen un examen psicométrico, físico, médico, estudio socioeconómico y un examen de control de confianza, que deberán ser aprobados por las y los candidatos antes de ingresar a la academia en el Instituto Superior de Seguridad Chihuahua (ISSCUU).
