Autoridades estatales se reunieron en el Centro de Salud Miguel Ahumada para supervisar avances en la remodelación del centro médico, la cual fue aprobada el pasado 17 de Diciembre por unanimidad en el Congreso del Estado.
En la reunión estuvieron presentes el secretario de Salud del Estado de Chihuahua Gilberto Baeza, el Alcalde de Ahumada Iván Rodelo, la Diputada América Aguilar, el Director de Planeación Arq. Alberto Martínez y el Director del Centro de Salud Dr. Rafael Chavarría.
Durante el recorrido, Aguilar Gil señaló la importancia de que Ahumada cuente con un centro de salud equipado para emergencias: “En una emergencia, el tiempo de atención es vital, y actualmente Ahumada es una ciudad y tramo carretero muy transitado e importante en nuestro Estado, en el que estas mejoras, significan salvar vidas”.
Cabe destacar que la reserva presentada por la Diputada América Aguilar, aumentó 22 millones de pesos al presupuesto de salud para equipar el centro médico para emergencias, con adiciones como: una sala de choque, instrumental médico de reanimación, monitores de signos vitales y una ambulancia para el traslado.
